I have been teaching crochet in and around Windsor, Berkshire for nearly ten years. I run two types of courses - a Beginners' course and a Beyond the Basics course. The Beginners' Course is suitable for those who have never done any crochet before, or those who have done a little but would like to go over the basics. This includes the five most commonly used stitches, crocheting in both rows and rounds and essential techniques like reading a pattern and a chart. I also run a follow on course called Beyond The Basics, suitable for those who have an understanding of the basics but would like to learn new techniques and stitches. The Beyond the Basics course is designed to really build your crocheting confidence so you can take on a wider variety of projects with ease. Both courses consist of 5 one hour sessions and are taught in small groups to ensure I can provide lots of help and support. 

 

I also run regular one-off workshops on specific themes. Previous workshops have included Christmas decorations, Tunisian crochet, mini Easter gift eggs and poppy making. Details of any up coming course and workshops will be shown below. 

 

All of my courses and workshops are suitable for anyone aged 11 years and older - please note, children aged between 11 and 16 years need to be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not need to participate in the session but does need to be present. I can teach both right and left handed.
